0930 - Terrible commute in today, was late for work. This will prevent me from going to CSL this evening because I have to take a lunch hour to ship these packages and get the cash from the CSL debit card over to my PNC account. Have not been able to connect the CSL card to PayPal.
1306 - Just shipped my two eBay packages. I had to pay for the packing slips myself, but I thought I had selected buyer paid shipping. Curious.
I also successfully withdrew $40 from my CSL Plasma Card and deposited to PNC. Out of that I sent $30 to help pay the overage on my Best Buy card. I think I'll keep $10 from each deposit in PNC to help with household bills.
Due to all this, I don't think I'll visit CSL today. I'm going to have to stay late at work to make up for my lunchtime as it is, and I have a meeting tonight.
2109 - I did end up getting out of work late because of all that happened this morning. Rain impedes my commute terribly and I have a pathological hatred of any form of precipitation for that very reason. I didn't get home until 7:10 pm, so I had to walk my terrier Finn, eat dinner and do dishes before digging into the tasks in front of me.
I have just finished an application at Target, where I worked in 2009. I'm trying to get all the applications for the seasonal jobs in while they might still be out there. I don't mind working retail. My father worked in a grocery store for 20 years while holding down a factory job at Ford Motor full-time for 30 years.
I also applied for a deferral on my student loan, which would reduce my monthly outlay about $300. It's only for six months, so it shouldn't impact my credit score much.
I'm about to list the sound-reducing headphones on eBay that I got through the rewards program at work. No cash outlay, so it should be 100% profit.
After that, surveys on Survey Junkie.
That's the rough plan for my weeknights until I find a second job. Apply for one job, put one thing on eBay, do one survey.
Such is life.
